Hollow Knight Piano Collections Sheet Music Book

I've purchased this item twice. Once was for myself and the second, more recent time is because I intended to gift a copy to my friend. The first copy I bought came in as expected condition; good binding and pristine. The second copy that I wanted to give came with poor binding and a dented spine. I cannot gift a damaged copy to my friend so I will be giving my own personal copy away and hoping that fangamer can help resolve the issue with the second copy.

To start off, the book isn't very intuitively designed. It was quite hard to keep the pages open, and some of them even ripped if I handled them too firmly. Luckily I got it ring-bound and now it's completely fine. My other point is that the arrangements are very difficult, and this is fine, but the chords can be ridiculously large sometimes, so I am physically unable to play most of the songs in this book. However, the arrangements and art are extremely beautiful.

I love Hollow Knight: it's one of my goat and it's one of the games with the most jaw-breaking soundtrack in the entire gaming landscape. I discovered the piano adaptation of the soundtrack, I listened it all and in the end I was very happy to have that book in my hands, but "book" is not exactly the right word to define it. I expected that as such, it could at least be opened as one saw fit, I also hoped to be able to put it on the music stand and be able to treat it like any other piano book (those who play know what I mean), but in reality this book is not nothing more than a set of loose sheets that are not attached to the cover as they are glued with saliva. The project itself is beautiful: the cover is fabulous and the drawings inside are the same but I don't understand why it was created, and I imagine designed, so badly that it arrives already broken. I won't buy it again 'cause I saw that everybody are complaining of my same things and obviously the problem is not only mine.The only thing I hope is that when Silksong comes out, and possibly you do the same project again, you don't make it like this one.
