Welcome back to VA-11 HALL-A. This 3CD set from Black Screen Records contains a 12-page booklet with art and liner notes from the composer, Michael Kelly, and all 75 tracks from VA-11 HALL-A: Prologue, VA-11 HALL-A: Second Round, and VA-11 HALL-A EX: Bonus Tracks Collection.
The whole package comes wrapped in a clear multi-box jewel case with an outer obi strip.
I admittedly haven't played the game yet, but can't wait to now. This soundtrack is fantastic and I highly recommend it.
Its absolutely beautifully designed, from its art to its disc's, to the bonus tracks. I actually got this as a gift and listened to it before I played the game, it doesn't spoil your gaming experience. If you are a lover of video game soundtracks, then this is a must. The only con to this collection is that it comes in a jewel case , which can get cracked if not handled with care.
Oh my where do I start with this. The packaging and art, first of all, blew me away. The cover art with Jill with Glitch City in the background is stellar and it really sets a mood. Also, the art on each of the discs (with Jill, Stella and Alma respectively), is fantastic. The included booklet is also a nice touch. And of course the highlight is the fantastic soundtrack with all of VA-11 HALL-A's music (even including the bonus collection songs). Even though this soundtrack is my third favorite video game soundtrack ever (behind Undertale and Persona 5), I still adore it to pieces and listening to it always blows me away. My shipping was also really fast. My only possible gripe with the package was that CD number 2 fell out when I flipped to inner case. Overall, it's a great collection/celebration of VA-11 HALL-A'S music and I am thrilled to have it in my collection.
This complete edition is really amazing, sound quality is great and the music is awesome for any fan of the video game, booklet had just images in it colorful well printed. The only problem I have is the case is quite thin and flimsy when opening it to get cd and cd 3 out it kinda felt really cheap, cd's have a nice printed label on them.
