VA-11 HALL-A Pub Glass & Coaster Set

Bought this glass twice now, once a glitch, and then a regular. I really love its design, and its tint gives certain drinks like the right hazy IPA a really cool aesthetic. However the pink at the bottom seems to wear down fairly quick. The glitched version scratches over pink grew to the point its hardly got even pink spots, and the whole regular one now looks as the glitched version once arrived. I take care of the glasses well, never dishwasher them, and so I imagine the material for it just wasn't meant to last. Still the front/back designs and coaster are all pretty good. Its still a worthwhile glass to get, just disappointing the full colors don't last.

So I got this a while ago. But something happened and a replacement was sent to me. But the same problem arose. The bottom of the glass has this cool pink hue to it. You can buy the glitched addition if you don't mind a few scratches in the pink. Buuuut. It doesn't even matter because in the matter of a few days, the bottom of BOTH of my glasses had the pink bit already pealing off in some places. I can only assume that it's just a plastic material film that has been applied to the bottom of the glass that is just easily damaged. It just began to bubble up and eventually peal off in that spot. I'm very upset that these glasses didn't last even a weak without problems. But they are still really cool. Scratches, bubbles, and missing pink stuff aside.

The only glass I drink out of now when mixing drinks and saving lives. Toss in some artisanal ice and your favorite VA-11 HALL-A cocktail (Sugar Rush is a must) and you're set for an amazing time. The coaster isn't the best, I almost wish it had an LED light under it, but I'm working on that with an amazon kit. Hoping to grab a full set soon.
